Site location and context
An area of good quality
Fagus forest on fertile soils with meadows and a small lake.
The site was designated as a Special Protection Area based on breeding populations of
Pernis apivorus and
Alcedo atthis. Recent data are unavailable.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
An ongoing restoration project includes plans to re-establish small wetlands and to improve the forest through non-intensive management, and by prohibiting logging in some areas.
