Site description (2009 baseline):

Located in the northern part of Mengshan County. The topography in the IBA is low mountains, with the highest peak at 1,100 m.

Non-bird biodiversity: Important plants include Liriodendron chinense. Animals include Shinisaurus crocodilurus, Manis pentadactyla and Paguma larvata.

Established as a county-level nature reserve (1,950 ha) in 1982, mainly for the protection of Shinisaurus crocodilurus.
