Site location and context

Located around 21 km east of Bandung.

Key biodiversity

Non-bird biodiversity: The important fauna in this area is Cuon alpinus, Hylobates moloch, Presbytis comata and Trachypithecus auratus (Anon 1998b).

Habitat and land use

Generally, the habitat type devided into mountain rainforest, garden, pinus forest and natural forest (Anon 1998b, Whitten et.al.1996). The forest, is surrounded by ladang including bamboo garden and fish pond (Erftemeijer 1987).

Pressure/threats to key biodiversity

Hunting, logging and celarence forest for plantations (Anon 1998b).
