Site description (1999 baseline):
Site location and context
Located around 24 km south of Bandung.
Non-bird biodiversity: Hylobates moloch, Presbytis comata, Trachypithecus auratus (MacKinnon et.al. 1982, Asquith 1995, Nijman 1997).
Largely damaged montane rainforest (MacKinnon
et.al. 1982). Although only few information already known from this site, but based on good forest condition it is predicted that the site is important for biodiversity.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Cutting of forest and wild hunting (MacKinnon
et.al. 1982).
8.3 ha of this area is a Nature Reserve based on GB No. 1912 (Anon 1997, Anon 1998)
