Site description (2000 baseline):

Mountain forest with numerous small rivers and streams, on Gorgany and Svidovec mountains (part of the Carpathian mountains), near the villages of Kalachava, Yasinya and Ust-Chorna.

National Low International None5,300 ha of IBA covered by Nature Reserve (Gorgany, 5,300 ha).
