Site description (2000 baseline):

An area of non-irrigated cereal cultivation and grasslands, surrounded by dehesas.

This is an important site for steppe birds. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Otis tarda (30 resident pairs).

No serious threats known at this site.
