Site description (2000 baseline):

The site includes deciduous and conifer forests, rivers, ponds, marshes, riverine forest and wet meadows.

The site is important for forest birds, particularly woodpeckers and raptors.

The development of recreational activities, including off-road vehicles and mountain-biking, causes disturbance throughout the year.
