Site description (2000 baseline):

Conifer and deciduous woodlands with scree slopes, cliffs, and alpine grassland.

The site is important for breeding montane species.

The increasing number of tourists visiting the area (largely due to the ski-resort facilities) and the abandonment of traditional cattle-raising are the main threats.

National Low International None504 ha of IBA covered by Hunting Reserve (504 ha).
