Site location and context
The site encompasses deciduous and mixed woodlands, heathland and clearings.
The avifauna of lowland forests is well represented, with several species of raptor and woodpecker.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Forestry is the main human activity and major threat as practices are too intensive. Highway and road construction are destroying the site.
