Site location and context
A large tract of broadleaved and coniferous forest in the northern Apennines, dominated by beech
Fagus and fir
Abies. The main land-use is forestry.
An important breeding site for woodland species.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The main threat is from the abandonment of pastures. Some or all of the site is covered by a management plan.
