Site description (2009 baseline)
Located on the boundaries of Longquan City and Qingyuan County, is the central part of Donggong ranges of the Wuyi Shan mountains. The highest and second highest peaks in Zhejiang, Huangmaojian at 1,921 m and Baishanzu at 1,856.7 m, are both located in the IBA.

Key biodiversity

Non-bird biodiversity: Nationally protected plants include Emmenopterys henryi, Liriodendron chinense and Fokienia hodginsii. Animals include Panthera pardus, Neofelis nebulosa, Capricornis sumatraensis and Macaca mulatta.
