Site location and context
Hills on the southern edge of the Thessalian plain covered with phrygana and arable cultivation.
This is an important site for species associated with scrub and arable land.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The main threats are from the intensification of agriculture and hunting. The demolition of old buildings is a particular threat to
Falco naumanni (`Other' threats, above).
