Site description (2009 baseline)
Located in Tongryan district, north-eastern Guizhou. The IBA extends 21 km from east to west, and 27 km from north to south. Subtropical broadleaf evergreen forest is well developed and well preserved in the IBA, which is an important site for Rhinopithecus brelichi.

Key biodiversity

Non-bird biodiversity: Nationally protected plants include Cercidiphyllum japonicum, Davidia involucrate and Emmenopterys henryi. Animals include Rhinopithecus brelichi, Macaca assamensis, Panthera tigris amoyensis, Neofelis nebulosa, Capricornis sumatraensis and Moschus berezovskii.
