Site location and context
The area contains ponds, marshes, rivers with riverine forest, Populus plantations, wet meadows, bogs, arable fields and bocages.



Key biodiversity
The site is important for species that breed in reedbeds (Phragmites).



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Industrial and agricultural pollution, high hunting pressure and the development of urbanization for tourism are the main threats.



Protected areas
National Low International None13 ha of IBA covered by Nature Reserve (Boves, 13 ha). Part of IBA covered by Hunting Reserve (canal de la Somme).
