Site location and context
Ponds, marshes and reedbeds (
Phragmites) with deciduous woodlands.
During winter, the site is important for wildfowl (Anatidae). Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria:
Aythya nyroca (passage);
Haliaeetus albicilla (wintering);
Gallinago media (1-7 passage).
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The main threats are the intensification of fisheries and the abandonment of meadows.
