Brackish marshes and lagoons with canals, reedbeds (Phragmites), dry and wet meadows and garrigue.

Key biodiversity

The site is important for breeding and wintering waterbirds. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Aythya nyroca (wintering).

Pressure/threats to key biodiversity

The main threat is the planned construction of a highway that would run through the site.
