Site location and context
An estuary with mudflats, marshes, wet meadows, cultivated fields, hedgerows and abandoned fields.
This site is of regional importance for wintering waterbirds.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The abandonment of cattle-grazing, significant hunting pressure on all species, and the creation of pools for aquaculture are all threats.
