Site description (2001 baseline):
Site location and context
Flat semidesert located to the south from the Volga-Sarpa watershead. There are no any rivers and streams at area, semidesert are used for grazing. second places in European Russia which is very important for migrating Tetrax tetrax.
Both increasing and decreasing of grazing activity are C-threats factors for area.
