Site description (2000 baseline)
The valley of the meandering River Enz, comprising riverine forest, dry Pinus forest with areas of heathland and scrub, wet meadows, springs, 20-30 m high limestone cliffs, vineyards and a quarry.
Key biodiversity
A nationally important site for breeding Falco peregrinus and Bubo bubo.
