Site description (2009 baseline):

Located in Alxa Zuoqi, 20 km east of Dalain Hob. The IBA includes the typical desert habitat of Central Asia.

Non-bird biodiversity: No information.

Established as a provincial-level nature reserve in 1986, and upgraded to a national nature reserve in 2003.
