Site summary
These small estuarine islands support a small population of the endangered Australasian Bittern, one of the last locations for this species in Tasmania. The endangered Swift Parrot is an uncommon, non-breeding visitor to the islands. The islands also support a population of the restricted-range (endemic) Yellow Wattlebird.
