Site description (2000 baseline):
Site location and context
An island close to Mallorca's western tip, with very high limestone cliffs, dominated by Mediterranean scrub.
This is an important site for breeding seabirds,
Falco eleonorae and migrant passerines.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The main threat is from increased tourism, disturbance to
Larus audouinii and occasional poaching of
F. eleonorae.
Larus cachinnans is culled annually.

International Partial290 ha of IBA covered by Natural Park (Isla Dragonera, 290 ha). 975 ha of IBA covered by Special Protection Area (Isla Dragonera-La Trapa, 975 ha).
