Site location and context
A hilly area dominated by
Quercus forest. Human activities include agriculture, forestry, livestock-farming, and hunting.
This is an important site for forest species and resident raptors. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria:
Phalacrocorax pygmeus.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Threats include the logging of mature trees, a drainage plan for the Gormos valley and illegal hunting.
