Dos Ríos and Orba mountain ranges


Site description (2000 baseline):

Site location and context
The site includes the Sierra de los Dos Ríos mountain range, crossed by two gorges, with limestone cliffs, dense maquis and Pinus woodland. The main human activities are forestry and sheep-grazing.



Key biodiversity
This is an important site for cliff-nesting raptors and an important roosting site for Neophron percnopterus.



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
The main threats are from logging and hunting.
