Site location and context
A system of numerous ox-bow lakes along the very wet river Desna floodplain, which is tending to get wetter.
Conservation responses/actions for key biodiversity
There are plans to organize monitoring of goose congregations in 1997-99.Area is included in the shadow list of Ramsar sites (2000).
