Site location and context
The IBA is located in the north of the Stavropol region, on border with the Kalmyk Republic
An interesting area combining a system of salt-lakes and adjoining steppe grassland.'Other' land-use = 1% forestry and 1% fish-farming.
Conservation responses/actions for key biodiversity
Future research is planned. Unprotected.
