Site description (2000 baseline)
Three small brackish lakes along the River Guadajoz. They are surrounded by a belt of Tamarix scrub and reedbed (Phragmites).
Key biodiversity
This is an important site for breeding waterbirds, particularly Oxyura leucocephala.
