Site description (2000 baseline):

A sandy/stony coastal zone with 25 km of coastline.

The site holds more than 20,000 wintering waterbirds on a regular basis.

Tourism (bathing, camping, boating and wind-surfing) and pollution (`Other' threat) are the main threats.
