Site location and context
A rocky coastline with screes and glaciers, extending from 77°40'N 70°40'W to 78°20'N 72°50'W.
Internationally important area for extremely large numbers of
Alle alle. Colonies extend along c.160 km of coastline and inland along glaciers.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
With the exception of a local and probably sustainable subsistence catch of
Alle alle, no serious threats are known at the site.
