Site location and context
Sand-dunes, beaches and rock stacks located along the northern coast of Fuerteventura. Human activities include fishing and tourism.



Key biodiversity
This site is also important for wintering herons, waders and other waterbirds.



Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Threats include degradation of the habitat through rubbish disposal, and disturbance caused to birds by tourism and marine sports.
