Site location and context
Chua Hang is a small bird sanctuary located in the grounds of a pagoda, a few kilometres outside Tra Vinh town. Large numbers of birds congregate here to roost and there is a substantial breeding colony of some of the commoner wetland species. The site is protected and managed by the monks who live in the pagoda complex.
The site is a bird garden. The vegetation consists of a grove of big trees.
