Site description (2000 baseline):
Site location and context
A lake with an area of fen and riverine forest. The lake and its surrounds are intensively used for tourism from May to October, as a fishery all year-round, and also for hunting, forestry and agriculture.
The site holds 20,000 or more waterbirds in winter on a regular basis.
