Site description (2000 baseline):

The site comprises two non-adjacent areas˜Chernogorskiy (2,129 ha) and Ugolsko-Shirokoluszhanskiy (10,378 ha)˜in the Carpathian Biosphere Reserve. Natural forest dominates, with streams and subalpine meadows.

There are no serious threats.

National High International High12,507 ha of IBA covered by Biosphere Reserve (Carpathian, 63,245 ha).
