Site location and context

A rocky area along the west coast of Sardinia, covered by maquis. The main land-use is tourism. It includes Capo Caccia, Punta Cristallo and Isola Foradada.

Pressure/threats to key biodiversity

The main threat is posed by tourism.

Protected areas

National Low International None1,701 ha of IBA covered by Wildlife Reserve (Tramariglio, 1,701 ha).
