An area of open sea, rocky islets, cliffs and heathland.
This is an important area for seabird colonies.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Marine pollution from oil tankers (`Other' threats, above) is the major threat to seabird breeding colonies and wintering populations.

International High1,750 ha of IBA covered by Hunting Reserve (Cap Frehel, 1,750 ha). 2,020 ha of IBA covered by Special Protection Area (Cap Frehel, 2,020 ha).
