Site description (2002 baseline):

Ca Mau is a small bird sanctuary, which holds large numbers of commoner wetland birds. The site was established and is managed by the people's committee of Ca Mau town as a 'culture park'.

The site is a bird garden. The vegetation consists of mangrove intermingled with bamboo.
