Site description (2017 baseline)
Well-vegetated, shelly shoals on coral platform, coral fringed, some mangrove, extensive seagrass beds and sheltered lagoon. Area includes part of Butinah island up to the sand-bar holding the Socotra Cormorant breeding colony; includes sea area also.
