Mangroves & mudflats, sandflats, seagrass beds, coral reefs, beach forest, sandstone islets.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Habitat fragmentation, mangrove clearence, waterbird hunting, inshore trawling.
No protection. Transboundary site: Brunei Bay (Brunei), Limbang estuary, Trusan Sundar (Sarawak) & Menumbok estuary (Sabah) Pulau Siarau proposed as wildlife sanctuaryPelong Rocks is protected under the Brunei Museum Department.
