Site description (2000 baseline):

A wide plain between the River Tajo and the Sierra de San Pedro with many endorreic ponds. The vegetation includes extensive grasslands with occasional cereal fields and large dehesas.

This is a very important area for steppic species.

The main threat is from recreational activities.
