Site location and context
This IBA includes practically all significant sandstone formations in the Broumovsko Protected Landscape Area. The forests in the area are predominantly old coniferous or broadleaved. An important type of habitat are the forested rocky slopes, chalky outcroppings and steep cliffs, which are crucial breeding areas of the two criteria species.
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Nesting birds are disturbed by rock climbers.
This IBA is situated within the Broumovsko Protected Landscape Area and it also includes six small-scale protected areas.The IBA is covered by the SPA Broumovsko.
