Ben Lomond


IBA Justification

The site was identified as internationally important for bird conservation in 2009 because it was regularly supporting significant populations of the species listed below, meeting ('triggering') IBA criteria.

Land ownership
The land is state owned. Ben Lomond National Park is managed by the Tasmanian Parks and Wildlife Service but the skifield is managed by a private operator.
