Site description (2007 baseline)
A large and diverse massif that has been deeply dissected by glacial action, but exhibits rounded summits. Landform and geological diversity has resulted in a wide range of upland vegetation communities including summit communities of cushion herbs, lichens and mosses. The site holds an assemblage of breeding upland birds.
