A slow-flowing river, with associated wet meadows, marshes, cultivated land, sandbanks, and woodland.
Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria:
Aythya nyroca (wintering);
Crex crex (breeding).
Pressure/threats to key biodiversity
Grasslands are threatened by agriculture intensification and conversion to arable fields.
