Site description (2009 baseline):

Site location and context
Located in the central part of the southern slopes of the Min Shan mountains, in a transitional zone between the North-west Plateau and the Sichuan Basin.

Key biodiversity

Non-bird biodiversity: Giant Panda, Takin and Asiatic Black Bear are found in the area.



Conservation responses/actions for key biodiversity
Established as a provincial-level nature reserve in 1993.
