Site description (2009 baseline):

Located in the Jiulongpo District of Chongqing City, 15 km from downtown Chongqing. There is no river within the nature reserve, only with six small reservoirs and ponds (3.7 ha in total). Over 15,000 ardeids aggregate in the area, including many Egretta garzetta.

Non-bird biodiversity: No information.

Established as a city-level nature reserve (150 ha) in 1998.
