Site description (2009 baseline):

Site location and context
Baihe-Wanbao is in a hilly region near to Erdaobeihe town and Wanbao town. Wetland habitats include reservoirs, lakes and rivers, with scattered marshes and agricultural lands. Secondary forest and coniferous-broadleaf mixed forest grow along ridges and valleys.

Key biodiversity

Non-bird biodiversity: Mammals include Panthera tigris altaia, Panthera pardus, Felis lynx, Selenarctos thibetanus and Lutra lutra.



Conservation responses/actions for key biodiversity
The IBA includes the provincial-level Baihe Nature Reserve (112 ha).
