Site description (2001 baseline):
Site location and context
System of artificial fishponds to the east of Arsk town.
This place are used also by ducks on spring migration. From 4700 to 11600 ducks stage on 1000 ha area. Could be an IBA becouse of rather large amount of birds on size, rather small in size.
Conservation responses/actions for key biodiversity
Regulary bird counts take place.
