Site description (2009 baseline)
Located in Goujia Township, north-west of Chongzhou City, Chengdu. The IBA in on the eastern edge of the central Longmen Shan mountains (a branch of the Qionglai Mountains), in valleys at the western edge of the Sichuan basin.

Key biodiversity

Non-bird biodiversity: Nationally protected mammals including Giant Panda, Sichuan Snub-nosed Langur, Musk Deer, Takin and Asiatic Black Bear.
