Site description (2000 baseline)
A mountainous site with broadleaved deciduous woodland, cliffs, and riverine forest in the valleys. Human activities include forestry, stock-raising, hunting, and recreation.

Key biodiversity
This is an important area for breeding raptors, forest species and species associated with open montane habitats. Species of global conservation concern that do not meet IBA criteria: Aquila heliaca (non-breeding), Falco naumanni (passage).
