Site description (2000 baseline)
A low mountain range to the north of Málaga. The IBA has been largely deforested, with some patches of Quercus and Pinus woodland. The slopes are heavily cultivated with perennial crops. Remaining areas are dominated by scrub.
Key biodiversity
This is an important area for cliff-nesting raptors.
